The hardware kit I bought is too small for the valve in the wall.?
I bought a used side by side with hose already attached. However the fitting on the hose is too small for the valve on the wall. So is every connector I bought in this universal adapter kit.

Return the hardware kit. If you have a digital camera or a cell phone camera take a picture of the valve measure the thread diameter and try again and ask for that as always helpful home center help.
go to home depot and get a 3/8 compresion to 1/4 compression fitting that will adapt it to what you need $2.00 at the most
